Guest Anonymous
I'm 99.9% sure that you can pay for an eBay auction using a credit card via PayPal without having any funds in your primary account. Upon winning the auction, simply log into PayPal. Fill-in all the usual data: PayPal recipient's email address or eBay ID, amount, etc. Select "alternate payment method" by pulling the tiny scroll window down (or something similar, I'm going by memory). A window will come up saying, "Do you really want to use your own credit card when PayPal offers additional buyer's protection?" Press "Yes", submit. I should have prefaced the above by saying that you'll probably have to go into your account management profile area and add your credit card *AGAIN* as an "additional source of funding". Yup, you should be able to do it. No problemo.

No problemo. thanks for the in-depth instructions. if i don't use paypal's additional buyer's protection and i just use my credit card and give them the info, wouldn't that be dangerous? or is my credit card information hidden from the seller? Depending on you auction, you may have to contact the seller concerning shipping costs. Do so if necessary. Pay by Paypal and contact the seller after you have paid to let him/her know. Find out when the item will be shipped and get a tracking number. Be courteous. After you receive the item, leave positive feedback for the seller if everything was as advertised, packed adequately, and shipped in a timely manner.Enjoy item. :) :)
