Members kittycaster
deep purple. never thought a single coil could sound so mean!.Yeah! For some reason, I dug out Made in Japan last night and was digging on Blackmore's tone. Ahh the good ol' days of rock when wankery was a badge of honor.Blackmore ran his Strat through an old Aiwa tape recorder used as a boost. Has anyone ever like tried to put that circuitry into a pedal?

Members jb1911
Hendrix brought single coils back from the dead. Actually, single coils never were near dead. It's more like Pagey brought HBs back from the dead. You could hardly give a LP away in those days, and I was there.
