Members blackjack davey Posted February 4, 2007 Members Share Posted February 4, 2007 Since any info on the web is extremely limited and the site to get them has no soundclips, etc. does anyone out there have any experience with one of these? I know the bassist from Mastadon uses one but how does it sound on guitar? Is it the ultimate in Fuzz evolution or is it yet another cloned Muff that can't beat the original. Members .homewrecker. Posted February 4, 2007 Members Share Posted February 4, 2007 I have one, and speak with sonny on a regular basis. They are awesome pedals. Just crazy muff sound. I also have a skreddy zero and they are very similar. I can get the same tones out of both pedals, but at extreme setting they sound radically different. Awesome pedal though. Surprisingly wide range of sounds - from Muff-like fuzz to sharp, well-defined distortion. A lot of tonal variety. Damn good value for $150.
