Members beardcom
love the wiggler, wouldn't call it a pitch vibrato though, its more a faithful leslie/whatever sim.
Members squareking
Best true pitchshifting vibrato on a budget? Yamaha Magicstomp. Digital, yes. Awesome, yes. Useful? Meh.
Phil O'Keefe
GRINGO, it's not shipping yet, but I have my eye on this one: http://www.diamondpedals.com/products/vibrato.html I love pitch vibrato. The BYOC is supposed to nail the Boss VB-2 at a lot more affordable price point if you can hang with the soldering (it doesn't look like a beginner's build). The Boss is highly prized by some folks, and the used prices reflect that. The Diamond has some features that make it look very promising... I can't wait to hear it! Members plowkraut
Diamond's vibrato looks pretty amazing (not out yet and I'm sure it will be expensive). Check their website.

Members fuzzinator
I'm thinking I might sell my VB-2 to fund a Diamond Vibrato. That thing looks hot.
Members L6Sguy
also keep in mind the yamaha ch-10mII, which with a dummy plug in the 2nd output turns into a true pitch-shifting vibrato (and a great-sounding one at that). iirc, the older dano coolio chorus or whatever its called also can do this trick. Members andthenurse
Only ever used the Vibrato on my CE1 clone, but I'm off to try L6Sguy's tip about the Yamaha CH10-MII, which would save me a {censored}load of board space... Members erksin
I'd love a vibrato pedal that did the Magnatone style, VB-2, and a Leslie/B-3 sim...
Members TIKILOCKEDOUT
I've had my VB-2 since 95 ... it's NEVER been off my board. I've played plenty of the other vibrato's and I always prefer the VB-2. That little blue box has serious magic in it .... rise time and latch controls ... YEAH BABY! Members troubbble
I'm so close to springing for the BYOC vibrato. I just need my paypal account to fill up a tad bit more. Is the difference between versions a mere part number? Is there any reason at all to go for the expensive one?

Is the difference between versions a mere part number? Is there any reason at all to go for the expensive one? You can't get the expensive one anymore. They ran out of the BA622 chips that were used in the originals, but the 6110 chip that he sells now is a workalike that is supposed to sound the same. I have a BYOC VB-2 and it really is a cool pedal. Supposodly the VB-2 achieves it vibrato from a different method than most pitch vibratos and gives it a unique sound. I don't know all the tech jargon but that is what I have read. Anyone know if this is true?
