Members Inertiatic_SKS
I'm thinking about taking my Boss OD-20 off my board since I only use it for octave fuzz and lower gain overdrives and getting an octave fuzz and seperate overdrive to basically replace my OD-20. I already have the overdrive in mind (Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde... it'll be for my higher gain tones and I'll use my TS-9 for lower gain stuff), but I don't know any killer octave fuzzes that can produce tons of gain. I'm not very well-educated in the field of fuzz pedals, so it would be much appreciated if someone could recommend me a killer octave fuzz. Members kittycaster
For over the top octave fuzz check out the ZVex Octane III. Lot's of gain, great for fuzzed out chords. Snarly! Another cool pedal (that's on my list to get) is the Ampeg Scrambler. Go find a copy of the band Cactus and the song Evil for a taste of the Scrambler. Members Fast Frets
Visual Sounds is releasing a Fuzz with an octave up next month. It sounds pretty good (heard it an NAMM) and given VS pricing, it sound be reasonabale. If you are getting a J&H you alread know about Visual sounds. :) :)
Members utterhack
I haven't tried a lot, so I can't say it's the best, and it's certainly not the cheapeast, but the Chicago Iron slays.
Members slappymcfinkles
I've got a like new Fulltone Ultimate Octave Fuzz pedal for sale $135 plus shipping obo. It's like new and only been used a few time. It works great but it's just not my thing. I'm looking for more of the Fulltone 69-70 sound.
