For me it is his bass "playing!" I cants stand it. I like the Benny Hill factor BUT, I could never get round his intonation.Good fun though! Members Lanefair
I put them on the other night and my girlfriend got upset. I can't get enough of primus. Tales from the punchbowl makes me want to go to a shed and jam one out with a fretless.

Members spinedriver
The Hallucino-Genetics reunion dvd was amazing !! Seeing Tim back with the band was too cool. Hopefully it won't be too, too long before they release a new full length.
Members RoboPimp
Primus is a great band! Les Claypool is someone I look at with respect for his ability to do things his own way and still become extremely successful.
Members KEB
I was big into them some 10 or 12 years ago, but I kinda got burned out.
Members DonaldDemon
I used to be a huge fan and still am, just don't listen to them as much. I unfortunately only got t o see them once during the Anti-Pop tour but I have seen Les' Frog Brigade about 8 times. I love how he will do an entire Floyd album or side at his shows. They do a great job of covering it and making it their own. Les is THE best rock bass player. period.

Members Craise
Primus Sucks! But really, have you ever heard Les and Larry's band before Primus? It's was a thrash band called Blind Illusion and they really did suck. One time I read that Les tried out for Metallica after cliff died.He showed up and said.."So do you guy's want to jam on some Isley Brohter's tunes? Doh!!! Needless to say he didn't get the job.Check out Blind Illusion on youtubehttp://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Blind+Illusion&search=Search

It is rumored that his failure to obtain the position was due to his style being "too funky". In Metallica's Behind the Music, Claypool said that during the audition he wanted the others to "jam on some Isley Brothers tunes", after Lars Ulrich asked whether he's "not really used to playing this kind of music". James Hetfield remarked jokingly that Claypool didn't win the job because "he was too good." I remember watching part of the Metallica BTM and lol'ing
