Members JoshuaLogan
I'm gonna be buying one of these two G&L asat specials, and I'm having a little trouble picking which one I like more. I think right now I'm leaning towards the blonde one, but the butterscotch looks great too. which one should I get? help me out, what do you think? tele #1: or tele #2:

Members jonny guitar
that blonde is a beauty; well, so is the butterscotch! I have a honey blonde Asat Classic and I totally love it....great guitars.

Members JoshuaLogan
hah, the switch tip on the blonde is loose the guy said. I'm going to get a replacement for it if I get that one. no big deal. hmmm this is tough. I like both. I posted in the other forums too and nobody agrees. hah
Members i51423
I can't stand the look of the pickups in an ASAT Special.
Members trlkvsky
Tough call. Normally, if these were std telecasters, I'd probably go blonde over butterscotch. But something about that second one, just the fact the bridge and the pickguard are different from your "average" butterscotch tele has me thinking butterscotch for sure. Members sense_of_henry
Have you played them? Which one feels better? In terms of looks, I prefer tele #2 and would choose it if they played/sounded the same.
Members i51423
sound > look It surely won't sound like a tele without the bridge, so I think the sound of that guitar would mess my head up. Sound is an obvious factor, but I won't buy a guitar I don't like the looks of.
Phil O'Keefe
Definitely the blonde.
Members greatwhiteclark
+1 on the blonde. They have more fun.
Members session_of_jam
Buying locally? The best test is to play them both in the same sitting, eyes closed, through the same amp. Have a friend hand you both of them, back and forth, in random order. Pick your favorite, then open your eyes. .....not always possible though, in that case, blondes have more fun! Members Televator
You should have made this a poll. I'd have voted for the white one.
Members JoshuaLogan
I'm buying them from forums online. I can't play either, but I'm pretty confident that both are going to play and sound very nice as G&L's are very consistent with high quality. I just plan on keeping this one for a long time, so it's a tough call trying to pick the one I like the looks of
Members W.A.S.
#2 for sure, unless you change #1's pickguard.
