well maybe its just me, seems like to pretty crappy pedals that shouldnt be more than $60 combined.

To each his own I guess.

$50 for the MT-2, as far as I know, even though I {censored}ing hate the pedal, seem to be what it goes for these days. I sold mine for $60 to someone. I see them go for 45, 50, 55 here and there.

if they were 100 each i would say the guy is a retard, but some 16 year old kid that plays metal will scrape up the change from working at burger king to buy them and consider it a steal. there might even be a post in the amp forum about it too :thu:

I really thought the metal zone was the worst boss pedal ever made, and only high school metal heads bought them.

You learn something new everyday.

No, that's still probably true, but just because something sucks, doesn't mean it isn't worth anything. It's why Gibson Explorers aren't given away on the streets. :D

Nono, they are. But in our opinions. They still go for what I mentioned above. Lots of young people into Punk and Metal love them. Because of that, they are "worth" that much money. We can hate them all we want, but so many kids buy that {censored} up. I even doubt anyone at Boss likes the way they sound, but they make a killing off of them.

Yes. That is retarded. But for some crazy reason that P.O.S. has become a desired and harder to find pedal for certain types.

And remember, on that first link he said, "Or best offer" so chances are he'll end up selling them for less than his original asking price. Craigslist is what it is. Plenty of jerks and idiots, but at least you can make a deal in person and figure out if you're going to get screwed or not. Personally I enjoy being paid in cold, hard cash.

I didn't know it was a desired pedal, though. I've read nothing but horrible reviews on it, and I've heard clips, and they sucked. I was just astounded he was asking $175. What did they go for new?

I think they were the usual 40 bucks or whatever those Dano pedals sold for. They were horrible and got discontinued, and then noise artists or something decided it was the holy grail of "uniqueness" or something and the prices started shooting up. Madness for sure.

$175 is still pretty high though. They go for much less than that on Ebay all the time. Although $100 is still far too much for such a piece of {censored}.

I'm somewhat of a noise artist.. I love that {censored}. And you don't need a {censored}ing SITAR SWAMI for that. Everything that pedal does you can use 2 or 3 of your existing pedals to create. It's just a little flange and octave or something, right?

I think so, its fully stupid, but then so are a lot of people, and some of them have $100-$175 less cash in their pocket and a {censored}ty octave flanger thing. ;)

pretty expensive but meh.

Craigslist is pretty funny overall though. I was reading an ad where a guy bought his girl an expensive engagement ring and she cheated on him, so he wanted to trade it for a Les Paul.

Then there's the sex ads, which are hilarious.

How can you hate Craigslist? It is like Walmart or McDonalds. If they have something you don't like...don't buy it. I have sold many things on CL, and this is what I've bought since February this year:

Samick/Valley Arts Fat Strat & Crate 65w amp = $85
MIM Squier Fat Strat & Crate 15w amp = $60
Boss CE-5 Chorus w/box = $25
NIB/NOS Squier Tele = $130
Fender Gig Bag = $25

I bartered every one of these deals down from their asking price.

I imagine he hates craigslist because of something that was posted in the ad he linked to...which has long since expired.
