So long as you know what values you should have, it can be done with a voltmeter in minutes. You'll be paying someone to plug some tubes in, and turn some screws whilst looking at a readout. There may be more to it than that. But that's all I did with my amp. Also, good move with having your own tubes, stores will charge more for their own to make money (fair enough).
