Im taking my amp to a tec in the morning to put my new power tubes in and adjust the bais.. how much should it cost me? I have the tubes already.

What is his bench charge?

Shouldn't take more than that IF he is cool!

No prob.

I would say have $75-100 AT THE VERY WORST!

Can't imagine it being anywhere near that.

I misread your post.

I am watching England play New Zealand at cricket. Well, when I say watch, I am a little glazed right now on cider!

Ha! Ha!

Life is fuzzy right now!

Biasing an amp is quite easy. So long as you know what values you should have, it can be done with a voltmeter in minutes. You'll be paying someone to plug some tubes in, and turn some screws whilst looking at a readout.

There may be more to it than that. But that's all I did with my amp. Also, good move with having your own tubes, stores will charge more for their own to make money (fair enough). Be careful if they give you some BS about your tubes not working.
