Members inscho
my tremolux has 4 inputs...2 for the normal channel and 2 for the bright. can I plug in my guitar to normal channel A.....then plug a patch cable in to normal channel B, then into a tuner pedal, and from the tuner pedal into bright channel A? seems like I could, but I'm scared
Members kittycaster
I don't think it'll hurt the amp but on most Fender amps the two channels are out of phase so you'll end up with a very thin sound. I only know this because I have a Custom Vibrolux Reverb and one of the features of that amp was that both channels were in phase so you could jumper them. You could solder up a patch cord that reverses the phase and then it should work fine. I don't think it would hurt the pedal or the amp. There's certainly less juice going on between the front of two channels than an effects loop and people run pedals in effects loops all the time. Members kittycaster
yeah it works fine. Cool. So I was wondering, why a tuner there? I've had the idea in the past to hook up a delay like that so I could control the dry vs. wet signal better.
Members kittycaster
Bassman + jumped channels = Marshall plexi + jumped channels = too! Well, of course since Marshall is a Bassman clone.....

Sounds like a worthy endeavor. I also like the curly cords. I have one of those Bullet ones - really heavy duty and can stretch quite far + lifetime replacement warranty. Members kittycaster
how much are those cables? Ooooh, they come in white, clear, and red now! 40 bucks @ musicians friend (search for "bullet cable") I {censored}ed mine up (yanked the cable way too far) and they replaced it no problem plus it only took like a week for the brand new replacement to get sent to me. So their customer service is A+ But now I want one of the white ones.......
Members kittycaster
plus i like the way that cable sounds. compared to the planet waves cable, it had a fatter midrange.

Members kittycaster
coiled cables tend to take a little high end off right? i guess the old hendrix-approved ones did. this one is supposed to be cork-sniffer approved quality. all i noticed was that the high end was still good plus the tone just got fatter compared to the PW cable i was using. but the main thing is i don't trip over my cable all the time now and it looks really darn cool - teh sex! http://coreoneproduct.com/pages/cableweb/cablehome2.html
