Members comfortablynumb
SIX Expandora's in his chain, with ALL of 'em ON !!! I remember seeing a rig layout in an old Guitar World or something and he had the "Lapdog of Distortion". Of course, the 6 Expandoras all on. Wonder how he set them up. Surely he didn't have the gain dimed on them all..

I just found the old magazine with the layout. I don't have any way to scan it right now, though. A quick quote.. "Inspect the wares on tap: six (count 'em, six) Bixonic Expandora pedals wired together (the "LapDog of Distortion") lead the way toward Rick Hamel's super-rare "Varidrive," a sensational signal-boosting box built out of San Diego...grindage de gnarl." All the dirt pedals in the lay out are: 6 ExpandorasSIB VaridriveAustone Electronics TexTone Fuzz NutsTube Works Real Tube OverdriveZvex SHO Of course, all this is combined with a 31 band EQ, some JMP-1 preamps, JCM900 heads and Valvestate 80/80 power amps.
