Members JnBroadbent
What would I be loosing if I get the rc-2 as opposed to the rc-20xl? Rc-20xl spcs- Super long recording time: up to 16 minutes!Save up to 11 loops at a timeUndo function makes it easy to create perfect loopsBuilt-in auto quantize for simple and accurate loop timingChange loop tempo without changing pitchFootswitchable loop select (with optional FS-5U/FS-6) Rc-2 spcs- Up to 16 minutes of record timeLoop Quantize for easy loop-phrase recordingRealistic Guide-Tone drum patterns built inEasy, logical overdubbing and navigationUndo / Redo function11 phrases can be stored and recalledAUX input to capture phrases from external audio deviceExternal pedal input Now can you stack loops on the rc-2 like you can with the rc-20xl? Would I be seeing a huge benefit to purchasing the 20xl or just small little things? It won't be used live but mainly for practicing/improvising and jamming out with some people. I've heard the 20xl also has some sort of preamp.

Members WorkingClassDan
You lose a little bit of access to some of the features. It's all there but a bit more fiddly to undo and so forth. the drum patterns are said to be improved on the RC2. I just have the RC2. You can certainly stack loops on the RC2. Very easy to do. You can add a footswitch to the 2 if you need it and then it's basically everything from the RC20...as i understand it. Can't go wrong with the 2. I can get a used Rc-20xl for the same price as a new Rc-2 but I'm just trying to find if there's anything significantly better. Looks like I'm gonna go with the Rc-2.
