Members pandadan
Not that I actually want to sound like Uncle Fester, but I am constantly intrigued by his Machina era / solo album guitar sound. Is he using a {censored}load of chorus and delay? It sounds like some shoegazer's wet dream. I could never work it out so well...... Sounds like a stack of synths. Anyone? Members axe2 2001
Not sure exactly what pedals he used but I was at the studio and working with the engineer that helped him record some solo project. I guess he had an assload of pedals and a little peavey practice amp. Apparently on one tune he was playing and just told the engineer to go nuts stepping on random pedals. Dude said he had a blast! Members pandadan
hope it was a peavey bandit. I have fond memories of cheap sweaty rehearsal rooms and the mains buzz of a bandit. hahaa. Uhhh so his method is "no method", eh? That clears up everything! Members Klisk
TheFutureEmbrace is, from speculation, a lot of muff+fender blender+{censored} TON of delay (at least live, his notes don't even hit the amp until like 3 seconds after he plays them. ) Likely one delay set short like a verb, the other super long. Machina is multitracking. Probably 2 different fuzzes stacked over like 25 different layered tracks. You can't duplicate that crap live. Live was just a lot of hi-gain amps and rack units.
