Phil O'Keefe
PhasersI know it's not what was orignally asked for, but if you're asking for "best in class", then IMHO, you can't put limitations on it - it's either among the best phasers / flangers / choruses out there, or it isn't. Personally, I agree that the Bi-Phase and Doppelganger deserve to be on the list for phasers, along with the Flying Pan. Choruses? CE-1. CE-2 isn't bad on a budget. I have not heard the Diamond chorus yet, but I've heard good reports about it.Flanger? Finger on tape reel flange is still the best IMHO.

Members squareking
There is an internal trim pot that affects delay time (often called "manual" on flangers like the MXR and Boss). I desoldered it and wired it to a front-mounted pot as an extra control. It basically changes the frequency range of the sweep (the normal "Range" knob does this as well, but with this new control I can get it to sweep much higher (almost like it's going to go through the zero point, but not quite), or a bit lower as well. Pretty fun. I'm going to change the physical knobs to all standard EHX knobs though. I think you should do this to my DEM.

Members aeon
Flanger? Finger on tape reel flange is still the best IMHO.No doubt, but an afternoon spent with a Foxrox TZF Paradox w/expression pedal would surely get your motor running. cheers,Ian
