Members inscho
there is enough room for a dcbrick though and a pedal power if you modify it.
Members gorebuc
ok...maybe I can figure out a way to fit a strip on the top. i'm not gonna gonna be able to afford a PP2 for awhile since I jumped on this priorities priorities...Polychorus first Edit: My friend recently ordered a PP2 but I told his wife to get him a DC Brick for Valentine's Day. Boy was he surprised. Since all his pedals are 9vs...maybe he'll long-term loan/finance the PP2 out to me Does that really matter? No...
Members adeanb
You don't have to use a full size power strip. There are short three prong power cables (power strip liberators) that run enough length. If you get jakeeddy to modify the board to fit a PP2 he can also cut an access for the the perif power plug. This is how I power my EHX stuff with a PP2. Look at the front of a PP2, you will see the three prong power plug. http://edsmusic-jakeddy.blogspot.com/ http://cgi.ebay.com/Power-Strip-Y-Splitter-Liberator-Extension-1212594_W0QQitemZ300082009059QQihZ020QQcategoryZ45342QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Members JDandCoke
a fuel tank or DC brick will fit underneath no mods...a power strip could be fitted on the front (where it says pedaltrain) or on top...
Members TZR
alright.. i don't get it. the pedaltrain does not seem that hard to build, so why does it cost so much? you supply your own power also? don't get me wrong.. i like the empty space a lot. Members JDandCoke
i dunno, i dont think it was worth the money, but im still glad i bought it instead of anything else. i guess they can charge that much cos people will pay that much
Members lostandfoundpdx
not me, haha. i will never understand why people pay so much for a board when they can make one so easilly... maybe its a status thing:rolleyes:
Members gorebuc
No doubt its overpriced, but somewhere between "I'm sick of all these cables cluttering up" and "this plywood montrosity sure is heavy" there exists a place for a lightweight aluminum board with a slatted surface that allows for the aesthetic organization of cables. Guys. The thing costs $99. And it comes with a very well made case. I think you might be underestimating how well made the board is. The welds on this are fantastic. The powdercoating, perfect. Let me show you a picture of the bottom: If you're very good at fabrication and at welding aluminium (I'm not!), maybe you could build this and make it just as nice. Hell, if you're also a seamstress, perhaps you'd be able to sew yourself a padded gigbag for it as well! Have Fun! But seriously, for the rest of us, for ninety-nine dollars, it's a no-brainer! Members booher
yeesh my dad works with sheet metal I can see if he can just do something like this for me instead of paying the 200-400 I'd need for the huge 'train.
Members bluehuricane
pedal train just needs to start doing those mods as a no-cost option. they'd get a lot more business methinks
