if your hand is gay it might like to exersize on your weiner

And make sure any visual aides used in the process contain ladies. Not men. Also, make sure it's your weiner and not someone else's.

But seriously. Just play guitar. Go up a string gauge. Get lessons on technique, but don't bother with a gripmaster, that's just fighting gayness with gayness ;)

otherwise just play guitar, it's the best exersize for playing guitar

I use my right hand for that.

Anyway, I was going to use this at work, for some reason they frown on me bringing guitars in. Weird huh ?

I guess they'd frown on some of the other suggestions we made too, huh?

I don't know whether those finger exercisers actually have any beneficial effects, but I guess they're pretty cheap, so what do you have to lose?

I think those finger thingies can lead to overstressing your joints. Better to just build strength over time by playing your instrument...go to lighter strings and work up, play your acoustic to build strength as well. Practice techniques like relaxing the pressure between strumming rhythms...it's kind of a pulsating technique, rather than continuous pressure on the fretboard.

Also, don't press so hard...find the lightest technique that will deliver the tone you desire. There is a very fine line in figuring this out.

I find that when I have bad technique my hands hurt more (not my fingers). The muscle between my thumb and index finger gets sore.
