Members cabrasguitar
Just thought that as we are all interested in music we should all sign this petition. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/PMSEspectrum/ Basically in their infinite wisdom Offcom, the media watchbody, is going to sell UHF frequencies used for wireless guitars and mikes when the switch-over to all digital comes about in a couple of years. So, all gigs using all wired mics, wired mikes on broadway:freak: , no wireless feeds for the olympics in 2012. Basically it is just a stupid idea. Members Lanefair
I hate wireless, and no offence but all the bands that I see using them are all like 'rack' this and 'pod' that. Yeah they really make their Fender amps shine.
Members CitizenErased
I use wireless, purely because I have a tendency to trip over my cables

West End I meant, it's all musicals anyway who gives a {censored}.My point isn't just for guitarists, I don;t use wireless and never will but it will {censored} over alot of live events music and otherwise. Members alteredsounds
I think really the bottom line is that again the Arts are being screwed over, I cant speak for any other country but the Arts are being {censored}ed in the UK. Pubs / Clubs requiring new licenses for live performance and costing ridiculous amounts that smaller pubs can not afford. Southern Ireland encourage the arts, alot of European countries do, maybe the US? i dont know, but regardless of the 'tone sucking' or not of wireless, it's another {censored} over for the arts in favour of a few bucks. RANT OVER

RANT OVER Well put man exactly what I am getting at. It is just bull{censored} to sell the frequencies for profit and say '{censored} anyone who currently relies on this, lets make money'
