Members e021708
What do you really do with these? I mean other than play cold shot. Is it something that you can really use? What types of songs can you use them on? Are these effects something you can just bring on anytime you want too?
Members erksin
Sometimes I use them for solos, other times I'll just step on it to accentuate a chordal passage, etc. I rarely leave mine on for a whole song - otherwise, it loses it's impact. Members grayeyes777
i don't use mine often... but when i try to play the songs i use it on without a vibe, it doesn't sound right to me at all. One of my fav. effects for sure... but definitely a moderation effect.

Members Midrange
A better question is what pedal does the best job without forking out $400 for a Rotosphere.

Members HMKRich
I use mine when I'm trying to not sound like myself. I like it on some country stuff, and it's good for making a passage or lick sound "vintage".
Members bdecorsey
I just bought a roto-machine. I use it to sound like a Hammond B3. It completely changes the tone and nature of my instrument. Thats a pretty cool thing.

Members gr8fuldodd
I did a lot of research looking for the best one I could find then I realized that I didn't have the dough ultimately, someday, I'd like to get the real thing but for now, the Line 6 Roto-machine does nicely it is true that it totally changes the tone of your guitar basically, all guitars come out sounding the same but it gives you that tone pretty well it can't be used with dirt/distortion in any way that I've found though but when you just have to play the Stone's Let it Loose on the spur of the moment, it's fantastic

Members CapnMarvel
Wiggler. Dude, I love the sonic destruction sound of Jimi at Woodstock's vibe. It's so...{censored}ing...IRRITATING of an effect, but I love it. {censored} it. I'm in Tulsa alone and I'm off to the titty bar.
