Members guitarpat
I've been using a Digitech GSP 21 Pro for 10 years and it's time to retire it.I decided not to use a multi effect unit, and use stomp boxes.I have a Sans Amp GT2 distortion, and a Crybaby Wah. What I wanted imput on is what kind of; compressor, chorus, flanger, digital delay, and clean boost to get. I didn't want to re-invent the wheel by trial and error.I was going to run the chain is this order;compressor-distortion-wah-chorus-flanger-delay-clean boost I thought (know) I could make a wiser decision. Thanks to everyone, You guys have been so helpful (tear) I love this site!!Pat

Members guitarpat
I guess I want to be versitle but mostly on the hard rock side and my price range I guess would be "moderate"

Members dysorexia
compressor - Maxon compressor 145 ish and an MXR dyna comp if you wanna go cheaper distortion - ProCo Rat 2 or something of the like wah- Vox 848 chorus + flanger - if you combine the funds of both you can buy a Electro Harmonix Polychorus which has flanger and chorus and sounds really nice. delay- if you maybe added 20 more bucks you can get a Boss DD-20 which is versatile if you have time to tweak and find settings you like. Otherwise the Boss DD-3 is fine unless you wanna join U2 or something. clean boost- voodoo lab sparkledrive what amp are you using? maybe you don't need the rat2 or anything just a booster to get your tubes going.
