Members birt Posted March 4, 2007 Members Share Posted March 4, 2007 practise! make sure both parts are clean. use rosin core solder. use a 30-50watts iron. pre-tin both parts (by heating the wire, not letting hot solder drip on the wire. a good soldering flows on the wire and doesn't stick to it in a bobble). then put both parts together and heat again so you can see them make a good connection. less is more!
