Members fearofnightmare
I've got one of these: and one of these: What other synth should I be looking for? I was thinking of one of the angled face Yamahas or a Juno or something like that...I'd really like to have 2 or 3 more, and have like a little wall o' synths to play live. Which is what I plan to use these for ultimately.

Members Funky Chowder
There are tons of options. If you're going for the wall of synths, hell, go all out! Nord Lead 2.x Moog Voyager Access Virus Dave Smith Polyevolver There are others that definitely have more knowledge and, mroe importantly, experience in the matter than me. They might ask for the types of sounds you are going for. If you ever think about having Moogerfoogers, a Moog synth would get along quite nicely, though. Members shipatsea
If your going analog them get the most you can afford in a subtractive analog synth. Ex.. Moog Voyager or Dave smith evolver. I promise you that you can get an evolver to sound like a moog and a moog vice versa. As long as you have a similar feature set ie # of oscillators and proper modulation routing then you can make any sound. It is not necessary to have multiple analog synths. If you get your analog bases covered with a MOOG or a DSI Evolver than you could look at an FM digital synth like a DX-7. Don't get caught up in the hype that only a moog sounds like a moog and a juno like a juno. if you know how to program your synth you can make that {censored} sound like anything else analog. Members fearofnightmare
Alesis fusion = best bang for buck synth on the market this is the type of answer I was looking for! I really want a Moog or something similar (probably something like the Yammy angle-face is closer to my price range, though ), but bang-for-buck synths are what I'm looking for...kind of. Members pandadan
Alesis Ion = Cheap / Super accurate moog sound / Very good Korg MS-XX sound Not massively dissimilar to your Micro Korg tho. Better, definitely, but similar. Sell your micro and get this. Waldorf Q = Awesome awesome awesome. You really need something that'll compliment your other boards. The Q will take you ages to really get to know it, but that's the fun no? Get a second hand one and sell it on if you don't like it. The resale value is slowly increasing....
