Line 6 DL4 help

I just recently picked up the line 6 Delay pedal. I

it's not a defect, it's simply not timing the loop up correctly.

 

it's hard at first to completely be fluid with looping, but try to click the first button when you finish a riff as opposed to the second button. the first continues recording, so any trail-off/sustain from the previous progression will trail over, sometimes making a smoother transistion. otherwise, just use the dl4 awhile and you'll get used to it soon enough.
