that seems like a pretty descent camera you got there. i don't know how to get shots that clear up close. what kind of camera is it?

My Canon has a macro setting for taking up close pics. :thu:

These have to be the most detailed pics of a guitar I've ever seen. 3 P-90s!!!!!

i've got a canon sd600 and never knew what it's macro setting was for. i guess i should have read the manual. thanks

I have an SD400...and yup...that is what it is for. Works REALLY well. :thu:

That's a badass shape. Not a fan of the pink myself...but it totally works with that guitar. :thu:

3 P-90s, a toggle switch and 3 selector switches.

How much???

here's the diagram (really crude but it gets the point across);

crudesurfmasterwiringdiagram.jpg

all the caps are labeled 222J100V except the non directly grounded cap which is a 223J100V.

The large black circle is what I'd assume to be an inductor, not sure on values as I don't know how to read the thing or even if I can.

volume pot is supposed to be 500 (measured 620)

tone pot is 250K (measured 240 something)

the wired block with the holes is the 5-way switch, wired just like a strats with the extra tone switches hooked into the main out on it.

I didn't bother measuring the pickups but they're really hot.

Most of the wire is shielded which can be seen in the photographs.

I got it for 160 but they go up to 250 depending on where and when you find it. They come in pink, black, ivory, surf green, and pastel blue, I've seen some burst ones but I don't know if they're still in production

Your guitar looks like somebody bukkake'd the pickup cavities.

yeah it took about a half hour to get all the buffing compound out of there.

onbongos: the two switches add in a cap so basically like the 'bass' option on those old tele's, the two cap in parallel don't do much really, just a smaller version of the first cap I think. The inductor seems to cut bass. Kinda like a phase reversal but that's not really what it's doing. I haven't tried it out very loudly yet so I can't speak on feedback but it wouldn't surprise me with the extremely high output cheapo pickups.

that sounds right about the switches... it's been driving me crazy trying to figure out what the things do. mine only seems to feed back when i mess with them, and only through my peavey royal 8 (class a, zero feedback) and not my champ (class a but i think it has feedback)
