Here's the details on MF with all the info about the specs and what not.

Found this today here in Des Moines for $375. The color (according to Musicians Friend) is Antique White - but to me it looks more like a cream color. Beautiful! And the intonation and setup on this thing is incredible. Yes it's Korean made but it didn't matter - this thing sounds great and plays like a dream. Wasn't looking for one -just stumbled across it. I've got 4 photos to post -when I get to the one that shows the smooth neck joint - take a look at that one closely - no heel at all - perfect accesibility to the higher frets. These are easily worth the $629 MF is charging - but oh so much sweeter at used prices.

Rev. I've been eyeing those since they came out. I've been seconds away from buying about 10 of them. I want the Cherry Burst over Antique which apparently most people want too making it more difficult to track down.

I found one in NYC for $310 but in white. That was hard to pass up. Plus I got my Octron 2 4 U email that afternoon so it made it almost impossible to make it happen.

Let us know what you think. I've haven't found a place that has any in stock to try out so I would basically be on a blind buy (as I think you are too).

Good luck with her. Can't wait to hear your review.

Why? Those SD P90s are great pickups.

Yes they are. I wouldn't change them whatsoever.

I've spent the past couple hours with this thing and a Reverend Hellhound 40/60 with the gain at about half and the volume on about the same - ran it clean for the largest part of the time - and this bitch just screams. No I would definitely NOT change those pups at all.

I don't know if it's the difference in the body (partly chambered for the f hole but the weight and feel of it seems to indicate the rest of the body is solid) or the SD pups - but this is beautifully articulate and fat and pronounced and easily on par with the P-90's in my Gibson SG Classic - but with a bit more full bodied sparkle on the high end - the bottom strings were deliciously PHAT and punched unbelieveably articulate - no distortion whatsoever on clean without a pedal - and this with the gain on the Hellhound turned halfway up. It may be Korean made - but those pickups are the key to the sound of this great combination of wood and steel and electronics.

For the past half hour I did hook up an Emma Reetzitzfrats (sp?) overdrive and the TC just {censored}ing screamed - great classic rock guitar tone to die for. The sustain was really wonderful - DO NOT CHANGE PICKUPS - there's simply no need for that here. It's uniquely voiced which is hard to do given my collection and I concluded early on tonight that this one's a keeper

Thanks for the kind words to all - didn't know there was such a group of you all lusting for this one. I remember when they came out somebody on here ran a thread on them...and I guess no one got one, or they didn't review it here - or I just missed it.. but over time it just fell off the radar and I quite frankly forgot all about it until I seen this one today. Incredible piece really. And getting to the top of the neck was just absolutely effortless.

And if you can get one at about half priced used - I'm sure they'll pop up as a couple guys already indicated they weren't that impressed - GRAB ONE! You can thank me later for talking this one up. And thanks to whoever mentioned it first here because when I saw it - a light went off - and now I own one. Thank you brother - whoever you were.
