Members CHOUTMUSIC
Nels Cline is the only guitarist that's ever blown me away watching him play...I saw him in 95 with Watt and I'm pretty sure my jaw was dropped when he was playing what seemed to be two simultaneous guitar parts...just so talented - he's got chops, and can make a nice noise at times too. Members RamaLama Fafafa
Awesome. It seems like I saw them do a Television cover in a big cover medley thing on the Contemplating The Engine Room batch of shows.
Members inuitdream
that was a great performance! Was that a crowther hotcake he was using? I can't really guess from the sound. Love Nels Cline. My gear is patterned after his board. But have a long way to go.

Members Stacco
I love them both... I've seen Television and I've seen Watt, but he had another guitar player, who was really great too... This is the "Contemplating the Engine Room" European tour I'm talking about...
Members drasp
Sweet footage! Television/Tom Verlaine are at the top of my list! Seen Watt twice, first was the "retiring the Engine Room" or whatever he called that, second time was before Secondman's came out. Watt is one of my heroes. Gotta' go send that link to a bunch of my friends. . .

Members roygbiv
nels: yes! verlaine: yes! but, please don't forget richard lloyd. a hell of a player as a counterpoint to verlaine...
Members p8283
Another thumbs up for Marquee Moon. A lot of my rythym guitar style is copped from that album, especially the track 'Elevation' . A whole lotta angular slashing. Lots of treble. He's at least Verlaine's equal. One of the greatest guitar duos ever.
Members TheFigurehead
Having seen Television live, I can tell you that, although Verlaine seems to get all the credit, nearly every amazing guitar part on Marquee Moon is Lloyd. Verlaine is a much less interesting player.
