Members Mark Vasquez Posted June 22, 2007 Members Share Posted June 22, 2007 the metal muff sounds better with my single coil tele than does the MI audio crunchbox, wayyyyyyyy better, the crunchbox is made for humbuckers in my opinion, i agree with the pedal being too new for anyone famous to form a signature sound with it... but the metal muff does what a metal pedal should cause its raw and sharp but not necessarily "smooth" distortion at all... The amp I had at the time was my Laney LC-50. Probably wasn't the right amp for it. I might be willing to give it another try if the price is right.
