Holy Tone

why not, it's got a new set of strings and a pair of duncan's in it. I don't buy into this whole body wood concept, it makes a differene to tone, but not in a good bad way, just a difference in tone way.

It probably sounds great, if a little different.

it also has a through body hardtail, which would help with sustain.

I dunno, it's kind of neat looking in a weird way (in my opinion). My friend once had a guitar that was just like an outline of a guitar (kinda tele shaped) connected to a center part with the pickups--it was kind of a niche thing but neat to look at.

It was built for one of those "my guitar weighs too much" girly men.

like the SG i use :D

i wouldn't say it won't sound good until i've tried it. i don't think it would, seeing that a guitar body just happens to be pretty important, resonance/tone/etc.. but gotta give it a shot first before passing judgment...

methinks it's pretty ugly tho

Body aside, it's a Schecter Diamond series. So no, it can't sound good.

That's not objective in any way. I just didn't like mine.

Thats weird. My Scheck DS C-1+ sounds fantastic. Even through my 8" Washburn "nighttime" amp. I was playing it last night wondering how I was getting such a great sound through such a {censored} amp. 100% clean btw. Neck pup.
