Best Way to Sim a Leslie???

I have had a Roto-Machine and got rid of it and got an RT-20 last year. The Boss sounds great through some amps and bad through a Traynor YGM-3 or a Crate V3112. Sounds great through my Mesa Maverick, Rivera S-120 and 59 Bassman clone.

Are there any better sounding Leslie sims that do not need to be used in a stereo amp setup. The RT-20 sounds simply fantastic in stereo. I have been thinking about a Korg G4 as used by Warren Haynes and Joe Bonnamossa.

Wat are your opinions???

I went back to the H&K Rotosphere for an on the fly leslie Simulator. I too like the Boss but find it a pain to get it to sound Great all the time.My solution was getting one of those little Crate Powerblock heads and running a 2x10 or 2x12 and when needed a 4x12 stereo cab.Seperate amp on my switcher,I can bring it in and out with a Volume pedal. But way too much for the average gig..Good Luck.

I'd love to have a Korg G4, but they are getting up in price.

So for now I'm just using an Arion SCH-Z for fast Leslie tones. It really sounds good. Doesn't really do the slow Leslie thing though.

I keep hearing good things about Arion. But they seem to be impossible to find.
