Members Jokoker
I know he used an Alesis Quadraverb in the studio (probably live as well), but they are difficult to find. Is there anything, pedal or otherwise, that could give me something similar to this: Thanks.
Members WorkingClassDan
It's just mega-amp verb, right? Like a Twin or one of those Mesas.
Members utsapp89
If you don't care about spending a shedload of money, look at that new T.C. Electronics reverb box. That thing is supposedly pretty intense and can do pretty much any reverb sound. I think a lot of his live sound was just amp and P.A. reverb. On the Sin-e CDs I remember him asking the sound guy to up the reverb on his sound before one song.

Members garyfanclub
I'm guessing Holy Grail on Hall Setting about 75% with your amp really {censored}ing loud. I think that's way more than amp reverb.

Are there any other spacious reverb pedals I should take into account?
Members ChuckNorris1982
I've gotten *nearly* there with my Digiverb, but it's just not quite a long enough reverb to nail it. I hear the Verbzilla is better for that kind of thing, but haven't tried it myself.
Members WorkingClassDan
Verbzilla is very good. Nova might be the way to go if you got the bucks to drop on verb.

What about the Alesis Nanoverb? Does it use the same reverb as the Quadraverb?

Members ArrMatey
he might have used it but depends for what song. For Hallelujah, it's clearly a fender spring reverb, no?

He used his Quadraverb for that. "Hallelujah and other (a lot of other, hehe) tracks where it was just him and gtr..was actually some sort of Red Gibson Hollow Body Electric, big motha..I don't remember the model, he loved it though. That signal went to the amp and board via a D.I....making a pitstop to Jeff's quadraverb..which he always liked to have on..he modified the 'Taj Mahal' setting to be even bigger and called it 'Jeffs Mahal' or something to that effect..Andy did record the quadraverb effect to tape but separate from the guitar and vox..tape in this case being one of the first ADAT's..non of these types of tunes when to analog.." - Bryant W. What about the Alesis Nanoverb? Does it use the same reverb as the Quadraverb? From what I've heard the Nanoverb is no good. Like said before I've your on a spending spree go for the TC verb. If you're on a budget, go for the Verbzilla. You might also want to check out the Yamaha MagicStomp. Many great reverbs in that one, and a Yamaha SPX90 if my memory serves me right wasn't such a bad thing for JB tones.

My son did a rendition of Hallelujah and he used a Tele and my '66 Princeton Reverb. He had the reverb about 5 if I remember when he recorded this. Here's the link. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=453803&songID=5617113
