I wanna know if anyone is using it like this??

The Classic50's loop is after the master volume so if you for instance go through the return only, you can't use your amp's volume like you can when using say a JCM900 fx loop.

Will the 4CM still work if I wanna use my amp's channels and the GT-8 only for pre- and post-fx?

Guitar Out > GT-8 Input Jack.

GT-8 FX Loop Send > Classic 50 Input

Classic 50 FX Loop Send > GT-8 FX Loop Return.

GT-8 Left(Mono) Output > Classic 50 FX Loop Return.

Should keep the desired pre amp effects before your amp, still use your amps volume and gain, and keep the post preamp effects after the gain stages where they like to be

So it won't have the same effect as when you put it in the return only, in the sence off not being able to use the amp's volume??? Like I mentioned, th C50's master volume is before the fx loop in the circuit, so using amp models on the GT8 and bypassing the pre amp by going to the return only, does not allow you touse amp volume...)
