Okay... about time I own a Fuzz Face pedal, but what kind? Something sub $100.

I always get asked the question "How does X fuzz sound compared to a Fuzz Face?" and I can't really answer because I've never had personal experience.

So let's make it happen. What's the one Fuzz Face / clone that is around $100 and is an accurate representation of such things.

Thanks in advance.

In case you really don't know.

I really didn't.

I've never been much interested in Fuzz Face-esque pedals till now, and I always have heard of "Monsterpiece" and vaguely knew it was Duderanimous, but all the connections didn't connect till just now.

HCEF is a big place, ya know?

Thanks for link!

Your a builder. Can't you just build yourself a Fuzz Face? There is a TON of info on this circuit. Why pay someone else for a pedal that has less than 10 parts.

Yeah you don't even need those vintage germanium transistors, since everyone comparing your pedals to a fuzz face probably has the crappy dunlop one. It will take you 13 minutes to build one.

I think most of us believe in your ability to build one. There are schematics all over the place, and it really is about the simplest build out there in terms of number of parts.

Just a few:

Otherwise, Monsterpiece all the way. His single pedals are $95, for a limited time only.
