Just putting in my (almost) daily notice for you MS users. I've created a number of patches based on famous trem sounds. There's duane Eddy (carefull with that one - the bass bandwidth is VERY boosted!), AC30's a vibroverb, REM, Smiths, stutter and pulp fiction stuff in there.

These basic sounds serve as a platform for any kind of tremolo you wish to create - sine, triangle or square.

The key to using them effectively, especially if you want older sounds - is to pay attention to the bandwidth: Duane Eddy had a very different sound to say, Peter Buck, play around with the frequencies and Q range for both bandwidths and I'm sure you will find almost every trem sound on the planet, not to mention a few new ones of your own.
