OT: Name rock bands without a bass player!

This isn't a dig at bass players, as I am one from time to time. But I was wondering about bands through history that have developed a sound without a bass guitar. Either by using a piano/synth/organ, extra guitars, or just skipping that frequency range all together.

It's becoming more common these days (Black Keys, White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, etc...)

What are some more? Name some older bands too, if you can.

The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

Local H - He was able to play both bass and guitar simultaneously. He installed a bass pickup on the E and A strings, ran that pickup to a different output, putting it through and octave pedal, and into a bass amp.

The Dandy Warhols - Zia plays keys most of the time

Explosions in the Sky started out, and often still do, playing with three guitars.
