Members KaiserSosay
Hey, so im going to purchase an EQ, and ive narrowed it basically down to these two MXR-M108:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/MXR-M108-Ten-Band-Graphic-EQ?sku=151115 and the Fish and Chips:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Danelectro-DJ14-Fish-and-Chips-7Band-EQ-Pedal?sku=151873 any opinions , prior use, expert knowledge =) the m108 seems kind of sick..but the fish and chips prob gets the job done

Members IvIark
I tended to use EQ all the time so I never had to worry about overall boosts or what it was made out of, it was just always on so the FnC was perfect for me because it did the job and sounded so good. If I wanted it on my board to stomp in and out frequently then the physical characteristics are a bit more important and then the MXR is top of the list, and the separate volume and gain controls give it another advantage and make it more versatile. Members archofmusic
MXR 108. Love Mine. Hopefully I'll have it forever. The volume control helps keep down my 1/2 stack in the apartment.
