Members Crxsh
This MIM strat? Or this MIM Nashville Tele? I'd obviously have some work to do on the strat ... new pickups AT LEAST. But the Tele is a bit dinged up.....

Members RoboPimp
take a long draw off your glass of prune juice and make a decision for yourself for once. Then you might not flip gear so much.
Members rileykill
I prefer the strat. Yeah they're both cool. In this case, I would probably want to play 'em to make a decision.
Members monkeyland
judging by looks alone because they are both guitars of comparable quality i would go for the strat. i've always thought that the MIM burst looks kind of cheap.

Members Crxsh
I like the Tele, but if you can play both and see what speaks to you. Playing the tele is out. That's in Sioux City right now .... the Strat is a bit easier though .... that's only 50 miles away -- Craigslist'd. I'm peaked a bit more by the tele personally. I've played a couple Nashville's and I really liked the feel of them. Plus, they seem a bit more versatile than just a strat. You can get some strat-ish tones out of them apparently (it's got the 'strat-o-tele' 5-way switch) but you get the tele sound too. I think I'm leaning that way. Plus, comes with a case. And robo ... thanks for the advice. But here's a question: Isn't this a musician's forum? A place where musician's come to collaborate and discuss gear? If you don't want advice ... or you think that the input of other people is useless ... why frequent this place? Clearly you're not offering anything valuable. I don't get why you're here. I like both guitars, however if I was getting one I'd grab the Tele. It'll cover more sonic territory when coupled with your Paul, plus you get indie cred for playing a Tele

I'm hoping that I won't have to sell the SG to get this one, which is nice. Maybe I'll sell the SG and get a "respectable" amp. :poke:

However, you lose indie cred for wanting indie cred. Well... I knew I'd find a way to screw up my indie cred. Oh well! My jooonyer sounds killer. Robo has his head up his ass.... it's one of the meanest amps I've played. A new speaker & tubes did wonders ... but all the BillM mods I've got transformed this thing. Think about everything you hate about the Blues Jr. and eliminate that. Not boxy, not dark ... it's killer. These mods are well worth the money. And as far as loudness goes, I mean really, my Blues Jr. keeps up with every drummer I've played with so far .... so loudness isn't an issue. I'd like another Mesa though. That'd be sweet. A/B it with the Jr. ...... :shudder:

Members Crxsh
Here's another one I'm looking at. It's in a little better shape than the other Nashville. It's a Power tele ... with the Fishman in the bridge.
