Members Faldoe
So I bought one of those flight case type board cases on ebay like 2 years ago. It didn't come with a board in it but the bottom could be used as a board however the bottom is like 2 1/2 inches deep. What I was doing was I made a board and keep it in the case but with the weight of the board and all my pedals it was a bitch to carry around. I recently took out the board I made which added like a half inch of height inside the bottom part. With the board out it saves weight but the pedals are too deep in the case. What is a good board to get that has the bottom piece is isn't deep? My friend had one where when you take off the lid and bottom part is just like a normal pedalboard - flat. I need a big board too, my case is like 32x17x7 I think.
Members homestar_kevin
I'd go for rondo man. you really can't beat them for the prices. I recommended them like 2 threads ago but I'll do it again. They're light and sturdy enough for around town. There is a 1/2 inch(ish) lip on them but if you throw a piece of plywood down then throw the carpet stuff on top of that, problem fixed. http://www.rondomusic.com/pedalcases.html
Members FedExPope
Rondos are nice. My only thing is that I want a slanted board. But it works nice.

Cheaper, and you get more attached to it

Members Faldoe
I saw the Rondo on ebay. I have some risers I made of wood for the back of my board, not sure if they'll be too tall.
Members Spudro
Rondo => http://www.rondomusic.com/pedalcases.html VERY reasonably priced, surprisingly durable. My mods: Ripped the 'velcro' out of the floor of the base half, cut a sheet of
Members SharkMinusBear
I just bought a pedaltrain 2 refurb model from music123.... I couldn't pass it up for $80. Their pro version is big enough for your needs and I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Members Keith SIO
watch out with rondos... your back row may be too tall to fit inside of the case.
