Members hilikus8
The only Line 6 amp that I really really like is the discontinued Duoverb, that thing sounded fantastic, the Flextone Series isn't bad either.
Members OldCrankyDouche
Mainly looking for something with good clean headroom. Under $200 that is loud enough to be heard over a drummer. I know. My list of demands is absurd. But Im broke, dying to jam, and dont have a ton of space for some big bonky setup. Members FedExPope
I know someone with a flextone. I hate the sound of it. Way too thin And its WAY too digital. I know thats Line 6's thing, but, jeez. Hes always worried that his effects will be erased.

Members TheGareth
I got a Spider III 30 watt months and months ago and I really liked it, only thing is that I got two of them with the same fault and got pissed off in the end and got my money back. Only thing about them is that they don't really take pedals that well.

Members FedExPope
I had a friend that said his Line 6 spider could get all of my fancy sounds that my pedals can make and more. I play a TS9 > Big Muff > Holy Stain > DL-
Members TheGareth
mind explaining that one? Not at all. When I had the Spider I tried running a few pedals through it and they sounded really harsh through it. These pedals were the Marshall Bluesbreaker II, MI Audio Tube Zone and the Boss SD-1. I tried these pedals mainly on the Clean and Crunch channels and they sounded really bad.
Members almightycrunch
Well, screw the spider series, flextone 3 isnt too bad, not great, but usable. The Vetta's are pretty good if you are into the tweak, and the HD-147 is probably their best sounding product IMHO. Havent played or heard any of the bogner stuff yet. Members carrier street
mind explaining that one? I agree with him to an extent. Most modulation, delay, and dirt pedals sound fine through them, but they seem to hate filter type effects. Wah pedals are not very pronouced, and I had an Ibanez Lo-Fi pedal that I thought was broken, because it affected the amp's tone so little. Members TheGareth
The only modelling amp that I have that sounds good with pedals is the Vox AD30VT.

Members cratz2
For cheap clean headroom, it's damn near impossible to beat a used Peavey 2x12 solid state combo. A lot of their 1x12s are good as well. A couple months ago, a shop had a used 2x12 Renown for $200 and trust me, that thing has CRAZY clean headroom. But the OD section sounds kinda like ass. Members OldCrankyDouche
Cool beans man. I had a Roland JC77 and LOVED it, but had to sell it to get some cheese. There's a Peavey Classic VT combo going for $150 on a somewhat local craigslist ad. Worth spending the $$ on a tank of gas to get it?
Members L6Sguy
is the C VT the one with the tube output section, and phaser built-in? its a "{censored} yeah" either way, but if its that one, then "double {censored} yeah."
