Members g400man
totally kick ass pedal, kinda pricey at $140 with tax, but easily worth it. I put it after a HBE Power Screamer at the store into a Pro Reverb and EJ Strat and the sound just drips Townshends "Tommy" tone, even with a strat
Members Folky_Grunge
Congrats. I'm actually thinking about buying a normal Germania myself. A question for you, though: How close can it get to unity volume? I know it still gives a little bit of a boost, but how much? Is it noticeable at all? It gives a pretty big boost in volume, i had the gain running at 11 o'clock and it boosted the volume a lot also just a bit noisy, but that's practically how all vintage styled pedals are

Like almost (or maybe even completely) down all the way? I'm asking this, because I think I want a treble booster (I have a thread about this on here) for more clarity and punch, but I don't want a big volume boost. Members g400man
Yeah I was surprised how much of a "tommy" tone i was getting using it with the power screamer, (and with a Strat! imagine how good i could get with a P-90 equipped guitar), man the power screamer tho blew away my TS9, perfect for the early Zep tones and late 60s Townshend tones, with the power screamer, i also nailed the tone to Rod Stewart's "Stay With Me" If i could, id take one of every product HBE makes, i wanna try out that head they make that's based on the Marshall JTM 45, called the JAW45
