Line6 Verbzilla reverb

I had the exact same decision as you to make over a Marshall 6101LM that I bought, because I didn't want to have to hook up to a rack. A already had a Yamaha Magicstomp which works very well but I wanted something in a simple stompbox format as well and I ended up with a Verbzilla.

I haven't been disappointed with it at all. Subtle reverbs up to huges washes are all catered for and the Octo mode is an added bonus.

I like it. I use it powered on a DC brick with no noise. I think with all the tonecores the blend knob can be a bit hard to dial in after about 3 o clock, but that's a very minor issue. Great choice of sounds there. But even though there's like 12 modes or something I only ever use plate echo and octo, but theyre all good.

The verbzilla is a great reverb. Not only is it versatile and reasonably priced, but some of the models (cave and octo) are innovatively stunning.

Shameless plug: the song "State of the Poonion" on my myspace page features a guitar solo drenched in the verbzilla's cave mode.
