Members pbone
pedal parts plus has a big enclosure for that. I'm sure there are schematics over the web too.
Members IvIark
I've not done one that big but it'll be easy enough. All the same principle but with more wires! Rather than looking for an enclosure it may be worth checking out your local metal working companies to see if they do any aluminium extrusion similar to this. Some companies do it with a slide on bottom section and end caps which would be perfect for a long strip. I'm doing a floor controller and rack mounted amp switcher and 3 relay based looper at the moment. I love these things!
Members homestar_kevin
I dont' think any of the ppp enclosures would fit 12. maybe 2 6 loop guys?
Members IvIark
I just got a Hammond enclosure that is approx 190 x 120 x 40mm which is going to have 6 stomp switches in it, and it looks like they'll be wide enough spaced (for me anyway). So a couple of those would be a possibility. I still think extrusion is a better option for a strip as big as that. It also takes up considerably less space, with it being so long and thin. Members Dolf
I've never seen one bigger than 10 loops, but hell, it can be done.

Members Saturnine10
Here's a link to a 2 loop TB pedal.. There's a bunch of different variations you can make, just do a search on here.. http://www.musicgearsource.com/colkv1.html
Members Lanefair
What are you going to do with 12 loops? I know it's a free country and everything but that seems like overkill no matter how many effects you own.

Members Lanefair
Well for me, loops are about not having to tap dance on stage. So I have reverb+delay in one loop, solo boost and octaving in another etc. How many pedals do you own? (please don't say 12)

(please don't say 12) 17 on the board i think. im doing it 75% for the buffers driving me nuts and 25% for the drastic decrease in tap dancing as you pointed out. i like a few good buffers in the chain but as of now i think i have too much of a good thing. confused again...... why would it be bad if i had 12 pedals and wanted to loop them all? i dont like the whole reverb and delay in one. od and octave in the other...... like it all seperate. most of the time i have 1 to 2 pedals on at a time...... The attached should do the trick though. I had to zip it because the dimensions were too big.
Members Saturnine10
Yea, i thought about that after i posted. That one lets you select between the 2 loops and the other turns the loops on or off..

There's no right or wrong here. But if you have 12 pedals and put them in a 12 bypass loop, what are you gaining? You might be removing some buffers from the chain but that's about it. And you're not tap dancing any less. Also if you hooked up 12 pedals together you'd need 11 cables. If you hooked up 12 pedals to a 12 bypass loop you'd need 24. Using 6 inch patch lead you'd be adding over 6 feet of cable to your setup.
