Members Noise...
Aside from the plastic enclosure and cheap knobs and switch, is there anything bad about this trem? I'm seriously gassing for a trem of some sort, and this one's cheap. Is it noisy? Any bypass issues? How fast and choppy will it get? I know it does the slow, vintagey sound well... My main concern is noise though. Is it at all noisy? Any hiss or white noise?
Members bluehuricane
not noisy at all, and i've been able to get every trem sound i've heard out of it (aside from seek trem weirdness) i'm actually looking to trade mine off as trem isn't a sound i use a whole lot. listen to "bang bang" by nancy sinatra... Members bradberry00
After reading the post I was about to mention the enclosure and then clicked on the thread and saw that you have already taken that into consideration! Aside from that, it's a GREAT trem. It'll get really choppy, completely cutting in and out, it's quiet, and NO volume drop.
Members bluehuricane
i like the enclosure, i've had 2 danos for ever and treat them horribly, both are working perfectly.
Members denimboy
Very noticeable volume drop (with the one I had and I bought it new). However It may vary depending on where it is in your chain. I couldn't get the effect as choppy as I wanted but it is OK imo. For 10 - 15$ you don't have much to loose. I not a fan of trems anyway so my opinion may be biased. If you have the extra dough, try out a Dr. Scientist Tremolescence. They rule.
Members smrz
Doesn't have a volume pot to deal with apparent volume loss. It's a really, really good sounding trem though. Totally worth the money.
Members Jeremy Skrenes
No helicopter-hard chop sound on it, but for normal trem stuff it works great. You really can't go wrong for the price.
Members Noise...
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It's hard to argue at that price. I may end up just building a trem instead though. I'm not sure. I've wanted a Fish and Chips EQ for a while though, so maybe it's time to add a couple Dano's to my board...
Members Jeremy Skrenes
There's no shame in owning a few dano pedals. Behringer is another story...
