Members booher
I'm really considering selling off my big box rat. I just like the Smallbox better.

I just like the Smallbox better. because of size or because of sound? do you own both? i had a couple of pre-rat2 smallboxes years ago but in those days my amps and technique left a bit to be desired and they always sounded harsh to me. this one is my favorite overdrive pedal that i've ever used. I have both on my board right now. I like to stack them to get a nice mid gain tone, as I run both low. I think that the small box has a better higher gain tone when the dist is around 2 and the filter is anywhere from 11 to 2. I just can't seem to dial in the same low or higher gain sounds that the small box can. That and I prefer the size of the small box. Honestly, though, once my rig is finally complete, it'll probably stay as a low drive pedal. Plan on doing something along the lines of barber ltd, small box rat, both at low drives/boosts, and amp distortion for real marshall type sounds (mesa dc-10). Members Keef84
Nice pedals Monkeyland. What settings do you find most useful on the Verbzilla? I just got mine last night and spent hours on the cave setting ( feel like I could write a movie soundtrack w/ that setting ). But, I'm trying to find a not so over the top setting on there I could use when playing out.
Members Crxsh
Sometimes I feel like a n00b because I've never owned a Muff. Also... I'd put that SCP after the Rat .... but that's just me. Have you tried it that way?

Have you tried it that way? i had a different boost at the end before, it works well that way too. i only really use it in one song in my bands set right now and it works a little better for me the way it is
