Members Loobster
I'm not usually much of an Incubus fan but I really dig this record. And Mike Einziger is a very talented player. What I was wondering is if he was still using his PRS/Mesa rig on this album or had switched to Jazzmasters and vintage amps, which I know he is using nowadays. There's some very cool playing on this album.
Members adamthemute
Pretty sure he switched. Definitely did for the live setup.
Members Loobster
Cool. You a fan of this album? I find it pretty underrated. I think it's a shame Incubus got marred with the 'nu-metal' tag just because they had some elements of funk and hip-hop to their music, they're way better than all of those {censored}ty bands. Members adamthemute
Wasn't my favourite album, but it's pretty creative. Maybe I didn't hear it enough. I used to listen to SCIENCE and Morning View so much I was Incubus'd out.
Members Mandooks
Not to sure about his rig on this album but I really like it. This album is underrated. Very nice guitar work on it. I'm really digging his sound on this and Light Grenades lately.
Members echodeluxe
i know he was using various fenders on the album, most notably jazzmasters. he was alos using some different amps as well.
Members hilikus8
I saw a Swollen pickle and an AC-30 on the DVD from a special release of the album. Also a Dimebag Wah and if IIRC a Danelectro Reel Echo
Members lewisb21
I like Mike a lot, but I was not too crazy about this album. I couldn't really get into it.
Members OldCrankyDouche
Sick Sad Little World on the Red Rocks DVD is probably one of the best extended versions of any song that Ive ever heard. Mike is awesome. And I love his board.
Members veil
He's a fantastic player and his playing on that record is also great. I couldn't listen to it more than twice being their singer is a {censored}ing dickslice, but hey.
Members Loobster
Yeah, Mike is great. Superb player. Jazzmasters, cool. This fuels my jazz gas even more.

What I was wondering is if he was still using his PRS/Mesa rig on this album or had switched to Jazzmasters and vintage amps, which I know he is using nowadays. There's some very cool playing on this album. He abandoned the PRS before he abandoned Mesa (lollapalooza 2003 he still had the t-verbs, but with a jazzmaster), but the only Mesas heard on the album are Ben Kenney's, as far as I know. If he used an amp at all. I too dig the album. I generally like Incubus, but find the albums previous a little stale. The dynamics on Make Yourself and Morning View are rather rigid; it sounds like they're playing to a click. The last two have sounded a lot more organic IMO. I'm loving his tone on Murder. Very warm, very organic. That's a great way of describing it. My Jazzmaster GAS becomes ever stronger.

Members Mandooks
Light Grenades is pretty cool. It took me a little bit to get into it but it's a good listen. It can be kind of mushy but Mike's playing is really great on it. His distorted tone on "A Kiss to Send Us Off" is nice.
Members Loobster
I was just listening to Incubus, then I thought, {censored} it. Let's put Jupiter by Cave In on and now I don't want to listen to anymore Incubus.

Members bennintexas
where did you read that!? he said so in a guitar player mag in my bathroom. "i dont care who you are, you cannot tell between the real amps and amp farm on the record" if i remember correctly.
Members willhaven
They lost me with Morning View. Sure, each successive album has had a good song here or there, but for the most part they put me to sleep now. I loved S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Make Yourself. Members Crxsh
Crow was probably my least favorite Incubus record ... though some of Mike's best playing is on it. Unlike Will ^ ^ ^ I'm a HUGE fan of Morning View... I still give that a listed from time to time. Make Yourself too. I have A Crow Left of the Murder .... but it gets less play than the other two. Sick Sad Little World is a sick little song though....
Members hilikus8
Every album has its gems. And even as sweet as Mike's tone gets, I think ACLOTM captured the best of his playing and tone.
