Members Frankyblues
Just got a new Dan Echo:) They recommand (of course) to use a Danelectro DA-1. I already have a Dunlop that looks about the same. They say not over 300ma, my Dunlop is 200ma. Can I use it safetely?
Members andreas
The Danelectro will work fine from any Boss-standard supply, i.e. 9vDC regulated, with a center negative 2.1mm barrel type plug. The mA rating on the adapter only needs to be larger than what the pedal uses (38mA, IIRC), so 200 or 300mA doesn't matter in this case. re the Dunlop adapter: just because it looks similar, don't make the assumption it is the same - make sure the voltage and plug polarity is correct. IIRC, the Dunlop ECB-003 is the one that matches Boss/Danelectro standard. /Andreas
