Members Lanefair
Fairly new. There was a thread about it and the buffer switch a few weeks back. To be fair, a lot of {censored} is coming out lately.

Members IRG
This looks cool. What kind of fuzz will this be, a PNP, NPN? My 2headed Monsterpiece is almost too big for my needs, and looking back, I should have gone with just a single Monsterpiece. Having an NPN and Classic is somewhat redundant for me. MXR is coming out with some good stuff lately. I'd like to see them make a somewhat smaller, higher quality chorus pedal for $150 or less.
Members Marc G
call me odd....but....if a dirt pedal doesn't have a tone adjustment on it I'm not really that interested.... there will be exceptions.... but not much...
Members IRG
Monsterpiece doesn't have this either...
Members MrNixon
between all the new music being released in 2008 and gear being manufactured, its a pretty damn good start. anndddd to make up for that pointless bump, listen to this
Members andreas
This looks cool. What kind of fuzz will this be, a PNP, NPN? The BC108 is a NPN silicon transistor, so the pedal should be normal negative ground. The buffer switch is there to stop it oscillating or eating up your wah. IMHO the buffer would be better placed in the wah (Foxrox Wah Retrofit or Teese Fuzz Friendly circuit-style), as it is something you'll really only need when the wah is on. But it's a good addition nonetheless, if your wah doesn't have fuzz-friendly technology. And this is the one time I'm inclined to believe them when they say it's TB - the stock Fuzz Face has always been true bypass (its input impedance is way too low for the half-assed/hardwire style), so there's a good chance this one will be too. /Andreas
Members veil
So it's a silicon fuzz face, basically? Any modifications/adjustments to the tone, do you think?

Members blackjack davey
I think its the same as the new Blue-Green Hendrix Fuzz Face just in a more board friendly format.

When it comes to fuzz units, i am as positive as they come, so it is Yay, until sound clips or a actual test says, Nay !

Members Terminus
As it says on their page, it's just the old fuzzface, but in a more pedalboard-friendly case (instead of that crazy round one).

The Dunlop doesn't have a buffer, though.... With the buffer off, I'd wager it's the same, though.

Members progholio
It looks like MXR is either getting it's {censored} together and trying hard to compete with the 'booteek' market or else the're just throwing out some sales hype like they have in the past. I don't trust them a bit when they start using terms like 'true bypass'. Members Liberty Belle
looks to be just a standard bc108 (npn silicon) fuzz face with an added buffer to make it wah friendly to me.
