My first was so long ago that it has since been deleted. I don't remember what it was about, but it probably had something to do with boobies and soldering.

One of the two anyway.
:p

I'm pretty sure it was deleted since it was a billion years ago. I think it was inquiring about amps. I was told 100 watts was needed to play metal.

points of interest:

Lanefair was the first person ever to communicate with me on HCFX......Quote "I've heard the Dr Q isn't very good. I own the Q-Tron and it is very funky. I wouldn't call it a substitute for a wah though."

First contact with my good mate Fender&EHX....Quote "It was designed by Barmentloo, who also designed the Flanger Hoax, Tube Zipper, etc. He is the 21st century da Vinci (or Dr. Frankenstein) of modulation."

Keith SIO Quote..... "dr. q is gross. boss autowah is gross"

also the much missed Tenoken...quote.."I wouldn't mind picking up a cool new effect this weekend. Something wacko, for under $100."

Hello,

I just joined today. Im a regular at guitargeek.com, so I figured I'd check this out too.

Anyway, my first post is about the Mesa Boogie lonestar Special. I want one badly, and the 4x10 format sounds absolutely awesome. But, they dont have any pictures of it on the Mesa website. Does anyone here own one na dhave pics? If so, could you send them my way? I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

actually, I know that flaming is not a good plan to a newb to a forum, but your not entirely right.

A square wave, is what it says on the tin, and looks something like |_| or to that effect.

With regards to compression, all you are doing is squashing the dynamic range, it is called squaring off, but that does not mean it creates a square style wave.

wow, that's being rude for a first post!

you guys who can't remember, just try thinking back to around the time you posted, you know like when you try and remember what presents you got for your second birthday and how those blue socks were so awesome but you lost them that winter when you went out into the snow to chase the cat and try and bring it in the house. :idk:
