Members blackjack davey
I'm really happy with what I'm running right now but feel that I could add some form of modulation to be used from time to time. Any suggestions? Current chain: NYC Muff >> TS-9DX >> Volume Pedal >> RE-20 I should add that I also have, but am not using: DOD FX40B EQ, Fuzz Factory, SoulBender, & a '91 Vintage Rat RI Thanks! Members blackjack davey
I already have a DOD FX40B EQ (which is great) but since I've had my Muff modd'd with both a Flat & Mid-Boost switch it seems sort of redundant to me 'cause that's all I was really using it for. Members blackjack davey
What kind of music? I really like the Smashing Pumpkins, White Stripes, Silversun Pickups, Black Keys, etc. You know, that garagey kind of Fuzz Rock.
Members blackjack davey
EQ, Tremolo, Univibe? 2 votes for Tremolo so far. But which one? I've only used a stock TR-2 before and found that the volume drop was so bad I couldn't use it.
Members blackjack davey
Hows the RE-20 for delay AND reverb-ish (at once) sounds?EQ fo sho.RV-3. I just got it the other day and haven't really been able to put it through its paces quite yet. But from what I have played around with the Reverb-Echo settings are very warm and vintagey sounding. I mean, the trail off and flutter just like an analog delay would do. Plus, when you switch it off, the trails will continue on, gradually fading instead of a quick cut/shut-off. Anyway, I'm loving what I've heard so far and can;t wait to discover more about it.

Members SharkMinusBear
Based on the music you play, sell that tonebender or fuzz factory and get and Earthquaker Devices Hoof from http://www.tonefactor.com They aren't too pricey but sound really cool and the guy from The Black Keys uses one. I would have gotten one myself if I didn't end up with a mayo. Hmm, just checked and they are out of stock again. I know they can be ordered from the maker's website and there are probably other places that sell them.

Members FatsoForgotso
personally I'd add a boutique fuzz, a good wah, and an EQ. Maybe a phaser...oh and a compressor!

Members veil
I'd be fine with that setup. Since the EQ isn't in your chain, I imagine you don't feel that it's needed. How about a tuner?

Members Saturnine10
You can mod the TR-2 to fix that.. I did that to mine, took about 5 mins to do and you only have to replace one resistor.. Its probably one of my favorite pedals now.. No more volume drop!!2 votes for Tremolo so far. But which one?
