How much is too much $$ for a Mayo?

a lot of the cost is purely based on hype and rarity of the unit. Price is not a good indication on how good it is.

 

 

Truth, though i do think its entirely worth the approx. $200 new price not the inflated $300 and beyond. Hypes a bitch though....

EHX are definitely missing the boat with this I think. There's obviously a market for their old spec Muffs so why aren't they filling it? Preferably not in a suitcase size box

 

 

Seriously, I'd kill for an old Triangle Muff.

It wouldn't matter because they still wouldn't be vintage. :idk:

I had a triangle 3 years ago and the mayo captured the vibe pretty damn well. Its was much less noisy, smaller, and about 1/3 of the price.

 

Interesting - I thought the Mayo sounded nothing like the Triangle I owned, which I bought 3 years ago for about 1/3 price Mayo's are selling for ... :confused:
