Members byteblock
is it just me or is it my ohm meter acting funny, the higher a resistor gets in ohms the sloppier the tolerance? even if they are metal film 1%? is it kinda like whats known as progressive error, the bigger something gets the more it's gonna be off. Members Collapse
1% of a mega-Ohm is bigger than 1% of an Ohm. If that's what you mean, yes.
Members byteblock
well these 430Kohms that I have here read more like 350Kohms. I just put new batteries in this ohm meter about a week ago.

You won't get accurate readings if the resistors are in-circuit.

Members byteblock
meter is a kitler DT-998. resistors are still on the paper roll strips. I'm gonna change the batteries, maybe they're drained.
