Members IvIark
I've got the Zoom G2 and think it's great. I use it really just for practise while travelling because the G2, a small guitar like a Hohner G3T and headphones makes a great portable package. There's plenty of models and effects and they're all pretty good quality I think.

Members eyeball987
anyone used the 3000G Korg? I gigged with a Korg AX1000 for years, and still use it from time to time actually, which is the first version of that unit. Very easy to use and sounds great. I still love the early model that I have. The 3000G was on my short list to buy after I sold my PodXT but I went with the Tonelab LE instead. Funny thing is though, the 3000G and the Tonelab are almost identical! Look at some close up pics of each and peak at how the knobs are labeled. Members krisnrg
I thought I heard somewhere that Korg owns Vox. Maybe thats why they are similar. Except the Tone Lab series has tubes.

Members TomCTC
If you need just straight effects, I can't say enough good things about the Boss GT series. Just stay away from the amp modelling on there.

Members leftystratman
its mainly distortion, delay, echo, wah, tremelo im after I don't know how much those multi FX units are going for, but I'd buy a distortion pedal and a wah to begin with instead of a multi. in the past, I bought a few multi FX pedals, I sold them within a year or so. so much money was wasted on the Multi pedals. I hope you are wise enough to avoid that situation.
Members Kassanova
MFXs are tools just like pedals. They are not all the same. Also, not everyone is seeking the same sound. Is a vast generalization to say that ALL MFXs are junk. I'd put the Axe-Fx Ultra or the Eventide H8000FW up against ANY pedalboard. ANY. They will hold their own if not surpass them.Multi-FXs aren't for everybody but essentially, its all about your playing. If you suck, no effect is going to keep you from sucking and if you're good, no effect is going to keep people from recognizing that as well. They are all just tools.
